Nancy Snow Carr as Ellen
"boy" follows a young boy named Peter as he struggles with the loss of his father. His mother moves him and his older sister to a new town in order to "start over." Peter starts high school at Faith Christian Academy and befriends the pastor of the school and adjoining church. Their budding relationship fills a void for Peter, until it doesn't. With a book by Jonathan Sangster (actor from The Book of Mormon), "boy: a new musical" explores the loss of innocence and how we all deal with grief.
